this is probably posted before but i'm too lazy to search it...when you using flash with flash wb, the image seems to warm, kinda yellowish...but use auto wb, the pic is more cool and seems right...what do you think?

Hello gang! I have a quick question! Has anyone had issues with the prevailing wage being too low? The attorneys requested the prevailing wage from the SWA and it came back really high twice, so they then submitted a private wage survey that my company conducted with a reputable firm and it was rejected. The attorneys have said that they will now appeal the case directly to DOL. Has anyone had to go through this? If so, how long does appealing to DOL take? And, any info on success rate with the appeals to DOL?
Any info would be extremely appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!! :)

Can I work with different employer without my sponsor company knowing about it? I have a EAD and I can change jobs(180 days is over). Now planning to start a company/to work on W2 with new company. I want to use the medical benefits from sponsor company(withought quitting the job).

I believe they promise a 15-day (business days, I assume) turnaround on Premium Proc applications. So it could take anywhere between 1 and 15 days, if not longer in certain cases.
Also, why is going to India dependent on receiving on an approval of I-140??

On July 9, the Senate, by a vote of 84 to 6, passed a DHS funding bill which includes a variety of immigration enforcement and benefits measures. Is it ok to transfer H1b to different employer after using AP? I resumed work with same employer on H1b after entering with AP recently.
My H1b is valid till 2010 . H1b was last exteneded an year back, inside USA, before I left to India.
I am going to get info from lawyer, but I wanted to be sure..

I'm surprised no organization is following up with USCIS about the prompt monthly updates on pending Volumes. So much for the push for openess during the 90 day initiative by the President !

Did any one get their labor approved that are filed after June 2008? Does anyone know how long it is taking these days?

Hi,
I have applied for my H1B transfer from my current employer to a new company. I have not had any issues with my current employer with pay or anything like that. I have maintained my H1B status with my salary coming on time as promised and have all the paystubs and correct documents. My new employer is a big american MNC and they have hired a well known law firm for transfer process.
My only question is I have not informed my current employer yet and will inform him in a weeks time once my LCA is done and transfer is filled. He will not be very happy about this and I have initially signed an offer letter which says I will work with him for atleast a year and its only been 6 months so far. Can he create any problems in my transfer by cancelling my current H1 or any other problems with my reliving? Pls help.

My I-140 & I-485 were filed concurrently in July and I have received the receipt notices last week. I have been told by my manager that I have been considered for a promotion. The job title changes from Sr.Database Administrator to Sr.Database Administrator,Staff. The new job after promotion will have additional/new responsibilities like leading/mentoring the team members in addition to the current job responsibilities. I have the following questions:
(1) Is there any risk to GC processing if the job title changes ?
(2) Is there anything that needs to be done/filed with USCIS to reflect the job title change ?
