Hi,
Firstly, I would like to apologize for my ignorance & starting a new thread on this topic. I have some questions on porting & hopefully you learned people would help me on this.
1. When is the actual PD porting done? Is it done at I-140 stage?
2. I have I-485 filed in EB3-I. Now, I do my labor in EB2 & then at the time of applying I-140 do I tell USCIS that I have an old EB3 with PD of Nov 2004?
3. Say I do that, will USCIS automatically change my category on my pending I-485?
4. When I filed my I-485 in EB3, I was single. Now I am married. If USCIS automatically adjudicates my pending application, I believe, I will be in soup since my wife is not included in that. So should I (or the attorney) tell them NOT to adjust category on my pending I-485 instead I file a new I-485 under EB2?

Hi All,
With my HTC Mozart, I can download app called 'Stocks' which basically look after stocks (nasdaq etc...).
The charts/graph looks very nice and I wonder how they do that ?

I wonder if there are free/open ressource which can help to start to draw so nice graph. Any blog or hyperlink are welcome :ch:

Due to a sudden demise of my wife's grandmother, my wife had to go to India last week. She is planning to come back by Nov. 15. I received the receipt notices for my wife's I-485, I-131 and I-765. My question is if the fingerprinting notice comes before she arrives and also if it is scheduled prior to her arrival date on Nov. 14; what are the options of rescheduling and can we get the date of our choice after Nov. 14. Also, I would be extremely grateful, if someone could upload a sample fingerprinting notice from USCIS. I couldn't find any where on the site.

I have a EB3 case from employer A, and an EB2 case as a future GC from employer B , and got the date ported from EB3 case to EB2 , got EAD and AP .Now I have started working for employer B on EAD, for the past 3 months, and now my contract might expire with the client and loose job, I have found an other job , but have to leave employer B, now my question is, can I file AC21 and leave my GC sponsoring company(employer B), or is it a very short time , and raise any doubts on being a "NO GOOD FAITH"case.Please help.All I 140's are approved.

Marco Rubio has a challenge. He needs to appeal to conservatives in order to drum up enough votes to defeat popular Governor Charlie Crist in next year's Florida GOP primary. Then he has to run back to the middle to appeal to an increasingly liberal Florida general electorate. When it comes to immigration, he needs to come off as tough on illegally present workers. If we're thinking of the same thing, the cover letter basically is a simple letter that explains what is in the package and what is the purpose of the package/envelope/application. It enumerates all the documents enclosed, almost like a checklist. You don't have to enclose it but it'd be good to do so not just for you but also for the person opening your package so they know if you enclosed something that they're looking for. It kind of keeps the whole thing organized.

I filed I-485 in Jan 2007 under EB-1 in Nebraska Service Center. Got finger-print, EAD, AP in April. No other status update after that. Online case registration shows LUD for April.
- Online processing dates show "Dec 19, 2006" for EB-1 I-485. Any idea when I should expect any updates ? What will be the next steps involved ?
- Any way to find out whether my application is sent to name-check ?
- Anyone else in the same boat ? If you filed around Jan/Feb 2007, please do reply back to this thread, or my email vinay.shah73@gmail.com

This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent.�
I'm no more working for this employer and I�ve changed to a new employer a year ago. What does this status mean?Any ideas?

I will change my employer in April and transfer my H1 with my wife's H4. My wife has found some company which would sponsor her H1B. I am on EB2+485 pending. My wife is on H4(we haven't filed her 485 due to retrogression). I am very confused now. Please help me!
1. My wife's company would apply H1B on April the 1st. My new employer will transfer our H1&H4 after that. Will we have any problem here?
2. My new employer would sponsor me EB1. I have EB2+485 pending. If I apply for EB1 140+485, what will happen my old 485?
3. I am thinking to apply 140 first and if 140 gets approved, I will file 485. I am not sure if I have any risk here. Is there any chance that my EB1 485 gets denied? Do my EB2 485 and EB1 485 have the same chances to get denied?

if you have EAD, alien # is same as A# on the EAD card. otherwise i think you should fill NA or none (check instructions page,for blank, what you need to fill).
