what do you think, they gonna release in public "we(USCIS) have formulated ways to harrass immigrants by delay there GC process, let them dwindle in the hands of exploiting employers, and make hefty amount of money of paperwork"
Everything has a cover, some cover ups are accepted some are not. N.Korea, justifies recent NT by saying they had the pressure and threat from neighbouring countries and USA. Nobody buys that story. Similarly we cannot but the story of USCIS saying its the issue of demand and supply. If that was the case why so many visa numbers were wasted.
Why there is fees increase in all the applications( they have enough fund for 20 years even if they dun get a penny from today onwards.)
Anyways, why are you still here in US.. go to Canada.. that will be the best for you.

where does it say if on is on H1B or F1, he or she has a right to get a GC. GC or citizenship is a privilege, we cant demand it or force someone to give it to us. Its a simple demand and supply situation, there are more visa seekers then there is availability and therefore there is a waiting period. i am not sure why we don't accept the simple fact that there are way too many people from developing country like ours moving to US, and not everyone can be accommodated ASAP. i think US has every right to do what it thinks is best for her, even if we don't agree with that,
And those who say its discrimination, discrimination is when people from Bihar are beaten up on the streets of mumbai cause they are taking jobs away from marathi manus. Had there been so many techies from around the world taking up jobs in India, we would have seen street lynching.

Require 3/5 majority) HR.2669 is passed by both Senate and house and sent for conference to resolve the difference between house and senate versions and president is sure to sign the bill and thus would become the law in another few days. I am still on H1 (not utilized EAD), the visa on my passport expired last year. Planning to visit India next week, should I be getting a visa stamped or use AP?
APPRECIATE INPUTS FROM THE EXPERIENCED/SIMILAR SITUATION. Any USCIS link will also help.

Well my friend people here will tell you that once you use AP your h1B is not valid any more thats not true. I confirmed this with 2 Immigration officers and my attorney. AP and h1b have nothing to do with each other. One is an entry permit the other is to work with a specific company. no link so use you AP at re entry when IO ask why did you go to india don't say vacation. thats all.

I know someone with PD EB3-I 2003 March who got his GC today.
Come on now, dont create another rumour....our brothers in EB3- I 2003 would all be excited ....but after few weeks they will know the truth and get disappointed.....Just think practically whether this is possible....
One example....just think....a week before April Bulletin was released.....there was lot of positive thought/wibes going around thinking EB2/EB3-I india (due to LUDs) would have a Huge jump forward.....well, everyone knows by now.....how it all went..........

I had started a healthcare thread previously and it got poor response. Eventually we created an iv-physicians chapter to track our issues and work with the core team on the overall goals of ending retrogression.
There are a number of efforts on to help Schedule A applicants, some of these are parts of more comprehensive efforts like Cornyn's recent amendment.
I suggest you organize the Schedule A folks into a group. IV is very happy to work with any group that takes responsibility for their own needs.

If you do form a group, try to expand it by bringing members in from outside iv as well- this would also expand iv's membership base.
I will be happy to help you with anything you need based on our experience with iv-physicians so far.

I do not think CIS has that much smartness in them. Different sections seem to go about the motions on their own schedule. They seem to be an uncoordinated bunch so far.
How do you explain push for EAD approvals before June 30th? ppl got approvals in matter of days (in most cases less then 20 days)

This is exactly why I am planning to open a company that can work as a pool for people who can use AC21, keep almost all the rate they are getting from market without having Legal Issues. I have atleast couple of people joining the pool immediately.

Listen to what he says about how India is racing ahead despite all the problems with education. I was disgusted with the quotas and poor education in India.
Learn to deal with the truth whether you are Indian or American!!
ya just because u need green card, you agree with professor sahib. once u get ur green card u will also talk bad about india and indian workers.. i think gone r days when it was a cheap labor.. do u think our education systems/colleges IIT's/REC's are crap.
just because he favored GC applicant you should not agree..he straightway projected india as third world nation in eductaion, resource quality etc ..

Do you know any employer or recruiting agency (in NY) who can help sponsoring physical therapists for 140 & 485.
I got a NY work permit and got my crdentials evaluated but unfortunately that emplyer is no longer having job vacancy. Now I am stuck and don't know if I can get benefit from some other employer.
Any input would be greatly helpful.

Are you willing to relocate if you don't find a sponsor in NY. Time is not on our side if you are EB3.
